Commenced in the year 1981, Saera Electric Auto Pvt Ltd is one of the famous names in the market. The head office of our business is located in New Delhi, Delhi. Enriched by our vast industrial experience in this business, we are involved in manufacturing an enormous quality range of Passenger Rickshaw and Cargo Rickshaw. We also execute Rinsing Service, Phosphating Service and many more. Moreover, to get an appropriate idea about the demands of customers, our experts periodically conduct the market surveys on regular intervals. By offering remarkable and desired solutions, we aim at satisfying our esteemed customers immensely. Customers have shown their trust and as a result of which, we are repetitively getting orders from the large clientele.

The company activities were initiated four decades ago by our group chairman Mr. V.K. Kapoor, a mechanical engineering graduate from the India Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India by operating Harvester Combines on custom hiring basis in India. The company was the first to introduce Harvester Combines in our country. In 1981 the company started manufacturing the BLADES of Harvester Combines and opted to go in for the manufacturing of more components of Harvester Combines when they started supplying blades, Knife guards, grain tank, worm shafts, feeder housing, adjustable sieves, wheat and paddy threshing drum etc to M/S ESPI Industrial Corporation in the year 1983.

Since then the company has diversified its activities into agriculture spare parts, automobiles and manufacturing spare parts for companies like M/S Maruti Suzuki Udyog Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra, M/S Carraro, M/S New Holland Tractors. The company’s high-level quality standards were recognized by these renowned manufacturers who have further increased their business with us.

With the company’s thrust for innovation and new development, Saera Electric Auto Pvt. Ltd was born which started manufacturing battery operated tricycles in NCR region, popularly termed as “E-Rickshaws”.

We proudly claim to be India’s first company to launch/introduce this innovative product in the country.

These E-Rickshaws were primarily developed to save fuel to enhance the economy of the country by reducing the import on fuel and also save foreign exchange.

The company has several manufacturing units in the NCR region with all modern machines, equipment and testing facilities conforming to International standards. These facilities are run by a group of professionally trained and qualified managers and engineers. The company also boasts of a rigorous R & D department which constantly works on improved quality, cost reduction and new products and models.

Chairman Profile

Saera group of Industries was started by our beloved chairman Mr. Vijay Kapoor in the year 1973 who graduated from one of the premier institutes of India, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 1972.

Mr. Vijay Kapoor had envisioned his country free from the shackles of poverty and also a system where a man pulls a man. This pushed him to develop a product/vehicle which was eco-friendly, low cost and required almost zero human effort which led to the birth of Battery Operated Rickshaws in India. He believed that this would provide self-employment to thousands of people and upgrade their status in society as they would be able to earn better and in a more dignified way.

He also emphasized that this would save our fuel import bills and thus save our foreign exchange.
